Short description of archaicity
Thakurpur Mosque:

There is an old mosque in Thakurpur village of Chuadanga upazila. In 1698, Shah and Mohammad Aftab Uddin Chishti alias Shah Afu passed away from Nabagda in the west and took shelter in the village of Thakurpur. He was a solitary saint. Always used to meditate, when he was at the time of prayer, he would rarely come out.



Zamzami mosque:

Kazi Golam of Jamjami village of Alamdanga upazila created a square mosque similar to that of Jawadia Shahi Mosque of Kushtia in 1307. The mosque is 36 feet in length and width. He has painted beautiful designs on the wall of the verandah of this mosque.



Tiorbil Mosque

A mosque was built in the village of Tiorbila of Chuadanga sadar upazila under the rule of Nawab alivardadi khan. Rani Bhabani waqf 35 acres of land in 25 acres for the management and supervision of a mosque in Ekadhaan Sadanam of Bangla 1168 on 11th Kartik. Chowdhury of a speaker was appointed the mutawalli. Later this property was named as the Waqf Estate of British Government in the year 1941, in 8027. But the property of the mosque is ditched. There is no trace of original papers. On the other hand, due to the lack of supervision and reform, the use of a three-domed mosque becomes inaccessible and new mosques are built there.



Sri Sri Satyanarayan Mandir

Sri Sri Satyanarayan Temple was established at the initiative of Baidyanath Agarwala, Mohanlal Agarwala and Shani Narayan Agrawala at Chuadanga Ferryghat Road in 1917. The three mentioned Indians came here from Rajasthan and started their business and attained the prestige and established the temple in the name of Sri Satyanarayan, the god of merchants.



Churches:

There are 5 churches and few missionaries in Chuadanga district for Christians. These are the Church of Bangladesh and the Roman Catholic Church of Carpasadanga, the Church of Bangladesh in Khajurra, SeventIB day advantage in Dengda and the Roman Catholic Church in Baghdanga.
